Condition:

Original canvas. There are several areas of restoration: 2 x 2 inch area in background to the right of the woman's face, a 1 x 1.5 inch area on her right shoulder and a 2 x 2 inch area in background upper right with a corresponding patch on the reverse. There are a few further smaller areas of inpaint in water and sky to the right of the figure. Inpaint to frame abrasion along top edge. Old, discolored varnish.
